SnowEx® offers the SP-65, SP-85 and SP-85SS walk-behind broadcast spreaders. All highlighted by durable poly hopper construction, these spreaders are capable of handling bagged rock salt and pelletized material and have a capacity range of 100 to 160 pounds and a spreading width of up to 20’.

Each SnowEx broadcast spreader features a noncorrosive poly hopper with a single-slot port design and extra-wide throat opening to maintain a smooth, consistent material flow.
A clear poly cover provides weather protection and keeps out foreign objects, while still allowing the operator to monitor material levels. The standard top screen prevents large chunks of materials from entering the hopper.
On models like the SP-85 and SP-85SS an available deflector skirt kit adjusts the spread width for sidewalk applications, narrowing the spreader’s focus to the target area only. Limiting the spread pattern keeps material from being wasted off the edges of a sidewalk or driving path leaving salt only where it belongs.
These models (SP-85 and SP85SS) also boast oversized pneumatic tires which enhance maneuverability over ice and snow.

Strong, sturdy and highly visible in poor conditions with the one-piece LLDPE safety yellow poly hopper, these SnowEx spreaders are hard to beat!
They all have a Nylatron® gear drive and a 10" molded plastic spinner. The SP-65 and SP-85 have a powder coated steel frame whereas the SP-85SS advantage is the stainless steel frame. This stainless steel frame helps eliminate rust issues on that area of the spreader, increasing the life of the unit.
