Kooy Brothers Return Policy
Kooy Brothers will issue a refund for most items returned in new condition (the item/product must be new, unused, not damaged and include all original manufacturer packaging) within 21 days of original invoice date.
There will be no refund or exchange provided for socks, toques, earplugs, electrical parts, engines, short blocks, decks, manuals, gaskets, or engine-powered equipment that has been gassed or oiled.
In stock parts will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. No returns with be given on non-stock or special orders.
In the event that you have to return an item purchased from our Kooy Brothers online store, you must obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number before you can proceed. Please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, with all the details including order number and the item(s) you wish to return, or call 1-833-223-2667.
No return of merchandise will be granted without having received prior return authorization.
For your convenience, there are two available options for items eligible to be returned
- Return to our retail store - free of charge
- Return item by shipping it back to us - you must pay the shipping.
Return and Return Costs
All original shipping and handling costs are not refundable. Please be certain the product you order is what you require. Call us to assist if you have any questions, and we would love to ensure you order exactly what you are looking for.
Kooy Brothers is not responsible for any shipping, handling, packaging or any other potential fees incurred as a result of products being returned to us via courier. We will not accept COD returns.
All refunds will be made in the same form of payment as the original purchase. You can expect a refund within two (2) weeks of our receipt of the returned item(s).
Allow up to 10 days for your package to arrive at our store. Within 2 business days, your return will be processed back into our inventory. Your financial institution will credit your card 2-10 business days later. Once your return has been received and inspected, you'll get an email confirmation that your return has been processed.

It will be our pleasure, upon presentation of your receipt, to exchange any new and unused merchandise in its original packaging, within 21 days following the receipt of your Kooy Brothers invoice email, at our 1919 Wilson Kooy Brothers store.
The following items cannot be exchanged; socks, toques, earplugs, electrical parts, engines, short blocks, decks, manuals, gaskets, or engine-powered equipment that has been gassed or oiled. We will make an exception for exchanges if an item is purchased online and picked up in-store. In this case, if you come to pick up your equipment or merchandise in-store and it does not meet your expectations we will do an exchange. The exhange will however need to be processed as a full return with a full new purchase.
Damaged In Transit
If your merchandise is damaged in shipping, please contact us immediately. We will assist in filing a claim with the carrier and sending a replacement to you.
In the event that your product is defective, it will be Kooy Brothers discretion as to whether a refund will be issued, exchange given or product repair completed under warranty.
If the defective merchandise cannot be repaired or exchanged, you will be reimbursed for your purchase in the same form of payment as the original purchase.
Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper use or accidental breakage.
